WHO (World Health Organization) Traditional Medicine Project http://www.who.int/medicines/publications/traditional/trm_strategy14_23/en/ Here the aim is to encourage the practice of traditional medicine in developing countries – especially regions without access to medical care. Nevertheless, this particular project is a good concept.

CWIS – Centre for World Indiginous Studies http://cwis.org/ As I have said many a time before – we owe so much respect to indiginous cultures around the world and it is important that we recognize and preserve traditional knowledge and traditions before it is lost alltogether. With the ‘Westernization’ of so many countries- younger generations are no longer as interested in ancient teachings – and as the older generations leave us we are at risk of losing this information forever (sometimes thousands of years worth of knowledge and wisdom) so initiatives like this at CWIS are imperative.
